I'm not getting a reading — what should I do?

Move to a quiet room — background noise makes the ticks harder to detect.
Rest your phone's microphone right against the watch case, or lay the watch flat on the mic.
Make sure JC Timegrapher has microphone access in Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
Hold everything still for 10–30 seconds while the reading settles.

How accurate is it?

JC Timegrapher is a tool for watch enthusiasts, not a professionally calibrated timing machine. Readings depend on your device's microphone and the noise around you, and may differ from a professional timegrapher. Use the results as a helpful reference, not an exact specification, and not as a substitute for inspection by a qualified watchmaker.
